This is a bit like saying you are a University or Minor League ball player you are more than a competent ball player, you are in fact a better ball player than 98 percent of people, now you go up against a Major League all star team and have your "ass handed to you" does this mean that you actually were a bunch of totally incompetent ball players?
That may be true, but the stunning number of fumbles in the OJ trial were not at all the work of a top dog and many people ripped apart her management of the prosecution.

That is certainly my opinion.

This is the fatal "a bridge too far" if they had only charged manslaughter, they would be on a lot safer ground, but even then it would be far from a "sure thing."
Yes, it almost seems as if it was rigged. As I may have quoted before,to get a second degree murder charge I have heard it stated that the prosecution must prove Zimmerman had a "depraved and malicious mind". Seems an odd stipulation, but there seems it would have been easier to make jury convict on a manslaughter charge.
