Zed is Dead!

Careful how you term it here.
Original mod here, as far as I know, was Fred Zed.

And I believe he has already passed away.
I would be happy to stand corrected, though.

This was one of those, "Oh that guy!" moments.

@unassuming: @Ponderling has a point. The thread title should be 'Zeds are dead.'

Fred Zed was not a mod. He was the CEO of TERB. I never met him, but we did have some written correspondence.

There were times in the past when this site was targeted by hackers, and members who had the same Internet Service Provider were temporarily denied access while things were being sorted out. Fred Zed told me that was the reason I couldn't log in.

I remember when TERB was hacked.

My biggest issue with Fred was that he continued to do business with a certain pick-me provider who was on another board egging the hacker on. Not to mention that when a certain nuisance threw a temper tantrum a few years back and was making fake bookings and threatening indy providers, she was egging him on. The fact that he continued to accept her business was a slap in the face to the ladies who lost business because of them.

If it had been me, I would have refunded whatever amount she had paid on her remaining advertising period, thanked her for business and told her to take it elsewhere.
