Fred Zed was not a mod. He was the CEO of TERB. I never met him, but we did have some written correspondence.

There were times in the past when this site was targeted by hackers, and members who had the same Internet Service Provider were temporarily denied access while things were being sorted out. Fred Zed told me that was the reason I couldn't log in.

I remember when TERB was hacked.

My biggest issue with Fred was that he continued to do business with a certain pick-me provider who was on another board egging the hacker on. Not to mention that when a certain nuisance threw a temper tantrum a few year back and was making fake bookings and threatening indy providers, she was egging him on. The fact that he continued to accept her business was a slap in the face to the ladies who lost business because of them.

If it had been me, I would have refunded whatever amount she had paid on her remaining advertising period, thanked her for business and told her to take it elsewhere.
