I was wondering if anyone saw the finals of the women's figure skating competition.

It was clearly obvious to any objective observer or any objective judge that Yuna Kim should have clearly won with her flawless and beautiful performance.....but she didn't.

Black eye for figure skating competitions yet again.

A friggin joke.

I didn't see it, but I saw NBC analyst ********** Hamilton interviewed about it. According to him it wasn't a bad decision because the Russian girl was more athletic.

Figure skating is not about althletic. It's about **********, and how you pull all those triples and jumps inconjuction with the talent and skills one has. If it was all about how many triples one skater can execute, then all the figure skaters would just be doing triples, and it would be a triples contest.

Apparently, after this olympics, all the figure skaters will try and pull as many triples in their program as they possibly can.

More triples=more points=gold medal

The judges clearly gave the medal to the russian skater.

I saw brian Boitano interviewed on CNN. He said that the judging in figure skating needs to be much more transparent i.e. no more faceless judges hiding behind closed doors. Also, he said that figure skating judges never actually figure skated (this means I could be figure skating judge).

It's sickening to see that a hosting country, or country of power can influence something pure as the olympics. But then again, IOC has it's share of scandels. And what happened to the Wagner? I guess falling flat on your ass in front of millions and still placing higher than those who did not fall is fair? Damn stupid olympics.

The Russian had never received artistic scores anywhere near that high in previous competitions. Her technical was very good.
