Gino was consistently great. Saw him at the Colonial Tavern in 1976 and Vancouver around 5 years ago. A true veteran.Way too many to list for me but off the top of my head
Bulletproof Soul by Sade. Was not released as a single and did not chart.
Do Me Right by Dynasty. It only hit #34 on the R&B chart. Dynasty was part of the Solar Records family but were overlooked by their labelmates like Shalamar and The Whispers.
Wheels of Life by Gino Vannelli. A criminally underrated artist like many Canadians were. This song barely cracked the Hot 100 and I have no idea why. This should be a top 40 hit easy. Its one of his best.
And probably the most underrated R&B song I can think of is Remind Me by Patrice Rushen. It wasn't released as a single and did not chart anywhere. But its aged like a fine wine and has been sampled in so many future songs .If ya'll have no idea who Patrice Rushen is take a minute and look up her catalog. Its a gorgeous blend of jazz, soul and R&B.

You're correct it charted at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100.One toke over the line was a pretty big hit.
