For the win! 100% ^^^Sounds awesome but almost any cut of beef steak will taste amazing if you reverse sear it. I'm hooked on this method, it's easy and fool proof and tastes amazing!!!
And you're right, once you try this method you'll never BBQ a steak ever again. The only other thing you might want to try is sous-viding your steak first. This way you can cook any thickness of steak to the same doneness all the way through. Simply select the temperature you want it cooked to. It's also makes typically tougher, less expensive cuts of beef super tender. Absolutely foolproof!
