He lives in Elmhurst, near Elmhurst college -actually where Jordan's basketball camp was- so I'm sure we'll be okay. But it's still disturbing to see and violence knows no boundaries.

Statistically it's almost entirely black kids shooting black kids and Hispanic kids shooting Hispanic kids, gangs and drugs. Unless you wander into very risky behavior you'll never see any of this. It's a great city but Winter is a bitch - but then again same is true in YYZ

Chicagoans are embarrassed, their response is to laugh at it - a couple years ago they had 500 murders in a single year - crazy.
