Yahya Sinwar wasn’t just the mastermind of the October 7th attack; he’s been a butcher of his own people for years. He ordered boiling oil poured on Gazans’ heads for confessions and had a Hamas commander whipped for days. He even ordered a Hamas commander, suspected of embezzlement and homosexuality, to be hung from the ceiling and whipped for days. There are fire fights in individual neighbourhoods. The IDF pours fire on individual buildings where Hamas is firing from.

Carpet bombing is stuff that was done 60 years ago in Viet Nam. Capabilities are vastly improved

What are their options?

For decades, Hamas built a tunnel network to hide and move personnel and stores and stocked up on missiles to force Armageddon. What was supposed to happen was that Israel would be too timid of world opinion - and the opinion of "experts" like yourself - to strike decisively into Gaza after 7 October and Hezbollah and Iran would also attack and Israel would be destroyed.

If you're Israel and your choices are to allow this to happen to your own people or to strike back, what do you choose?
