She started it. She escalated it when she went from words to violence. He didn't deserve a slap, he was being a bit of a dick but you don't respond to people being dicks by hand on face action unless you are an uncivilized brute.
I get the impression from the account posted above that buddy didn't move fast enough for the princess, she started mouthing off and he decided and rightfully so to play stubborn and she got violent. As for as I am concerned the moment she slapped him he would be fully justified to full power punch her lights out.

Yer behind the times. We live in an equal society. And what some women need to learn is that includes responsibility, accountability, judgement and consequences.
Guy should have moved, hell the yelling and finger were deserved. The slap? Crossed that line.
The chick would be charged with assault (possibly 2 counts - 1 for the initial slap abs a other for whacking him in the back of the head at the end), the big guy with assault and the puncher with aggravated assault.
