I have a couple of ladies that I count as personal friends, I went to another city with one to celebrate my birthday which is pretty much as 'real life' as it gets for me. :)
There are also a handful of people I've met as clients that I either see regularly and they know all about me (and I them) or I've stopped seeing them as clients for various reasons but we still keep in touch. I think from a companion perspective it's a bit different as the 'terb system' is set up so we meet terb members and of course you'll find a few you are comfortable with and truly enjoy their company both in and out of the bedroom.

I'm friends with a few TERBites. I didn't meet them through TERB but the fact that there are at least a couple of others that I get along well with suggest that there could easily be more that I have yet to meet.

Also, let's not forget that some of our best friends may already be on TERB and we don't yet know it. For example, Rockslinger has no idea who I am...not that we're technically friends.

Don't worry Rocky...I'm not going to elaborate.

The question is : "considering to befriend with someone", and i'd be honour to know him in person, such a romantic and likable guy. Again, just as a friend, not romantically, hahaha. And KJ, you know full well that your secrets are safe with me too ;).

haha.. I am one step ahead of you. I already met him in person and we had a golf game together last yr. He's a cool guy and pretty good at juggling 2-3 girls at the same time. Me, I have a hard time handling one.:D.

One of the other boards in Mtl (not merb) has a multi level membership structure. To access the highest level , you must meet at least a few of the members, either for lunch or a few beers, etc.
Once that initial meeting is done, you start to find out that others have other hobbies in common. Golf seems to be one of those.
There are a few guys in Mtl who I used to golf with who I met through that board.
As with everything else in this hobby, discretion is paramount, so the topics of conversation vary depending who's around at any given time.

I've made friends on both sides of the business.

...and I, too, have met Goober.

Drinking heavily helps, but not enough.

very true...saw a relative once visiting a mpa and also a school friend...

...with the relative...i noticed one of his friends and kinda turned my back and left (a little too close for comfort but he didn't recognize me--well he has never mentioned it--maybe cheering silently with me...lol)

...with the school friend...was in my car leaving and saw him going in at the old invisible touch...the school friend i could very much see being here on terb...relative who knows...

A few years ago, I would have said never.

Now I've become close friends with several ladies. I chat regularly with a few guys and recently met on in "real life".

Frankly, anonymity provides a measure of comfort. You can be far more open if you know you'll never meet. I've learned that after I do meet someone and get to know them in real life, the level of "openess" actually decreases.

rockslinger, blackrock, aardvark, rub, gg2 (that dude is funny), mod100 and a few others that i am not gonna bother taking the time to list are folks that i would allow to buy me a drink and listen to me talk about all of the things i talk about. 1 of the girls here i would hang out with but i would bring my girl along and it would only be for hanging out as friends. possibly even mrsloki and i will forget my wallet at home and she can pay.

yes bob i am trustworthy with beer, i would never, not ever fuck with a persons drink.

Nope. I do not want there to be anyone who can connect my real life identity to this industry. There should be no-one who can connect my face or name to "fuji", and no SP who can connect my face to my real name or to fuji either. I do not reveal either my online or my real life identity to SP's, do not book through terb, do not share personal information either online, or with SP's I meet.
