I don't live in the gta and I drive a 2013 sorrento. I just saw a video of a lady getting her 700k vehicle car jacked. I guess it's like swimming in the ocean, the chance of being killed by a shark is low but just the thought is worrisome. Getting car jacked out of thousands of vehicles might be low too.

Do you or relatives or friends even worry about it when you go out or looking at buying a vehicle?

Can you post a link to this video so we can see this fancy $700K car ?
If you worry about the price of a car, you probably cannot afford it.

I make more than enough to afford to drive a $150K+ car but I choose not to. Instead, I have have a very pedestrian 10 year old daily driver, that's cheap to maintain, good on gas, has enough room to toss stuff into. I don't care about scratches, stone chips or dings, nor am I likely to be car jacked. I also have a dedicated track car (race car) with a full cage and all the other safety features one should have when traveling at 230 km/h, that I play with on weekends at various tracks in Ontario and Quebec. That makes much more sense to me than having an expensive daily driver.

Woman resisted the carjacking lol pretty stupid for a rich person. Just let insurance take care of it. Why risk your life over material possessions especially when you are rich enough to drive a RR

I heard her being interviewed. I'm guessing she's not the one responsible for their ability to afford a $700,000 vehicle.

Link to GN, next they will steal from people from the transit system, like third world countries.

Thankfully I don't live in the GTA so I would be fine driving an expensive car where I live.

Word on the streets is, there's a group looking for these carjackers and they are not cops. Seems like they carjacked the wrong people.

Having a practical “daily” you don’t care about is the best strategy to navigate the city with all the morons on the roads and in parking lots.
Keeping the high end sports/luxury cars locked up in the garage except for some fun drives is becoming necessary given the frequency of jacking and thefts. Never park those for very long while out for rips.

I want to know if the guy chasing the car was the husband or not, because he gave zero fucks about the wife if it was. 😂

What’s the point of driving an expensive car in the boonies?

I wonder what will happen if a car jacking victim kills the car jacker during the incident?
There will probably be some Burn Loot Murder type protests.
