I thought "Alien 3" was a terrific movie. I liked it a lot. In fact, the actual original version that it was supposed to be is 100 times better than the version shown in theaters and released to video. David Fincher (Fight Club) directed Alien 3, his first. Terrific movie, well written, well acted. If Alien 3 was the first film, everyone would be ga-ga over it like Blade Runner, IMHO. "ALIEN RESURRECTION" (the 4th one) wasn't so hot, but still okay.newguy27 said:

STAR TREK V: THE FINAL FRONTIER comes to mind.
KING KONG LIVES (Sequel to the '76 Kong) is another.
And the one that stands out currently is:
XXX: STATE OF THE UNION (aka: "xXx: State of the Union"). Horrible and a disgrace. Should have never been made without Vin Diesel (who in his own right, made a dumb decision not pushing the franchise).

Wow this movie must really suck, I also heard cheap shots of it on 640am radio.
The only sequel in history that was better than the original movie was Terminator 2, then #3 was just plain stupid, especially using a woman was the Terminator, it was laughable.

Using a woman as a Terminator is not so bad. The bad part is where they made her an exact copycat of the villianous terminator in terminator 2. Couldn't they come up with something new? Like, come on, don't be that dumb. Come up with SOMETHING NEW.Music_Box said:
I came up with a million new ideas. Make the new villian terminator be able to become invisible like the Klenon warbird's cloaking device or make the villianous terminator far more powerful - like a walking tank - like the walking tank in Robocop.
I could come up with so many more ideas....
but you got to admit - they didn't do so bad with the female actress in Terminator 3 -
its the tv series Terminator girl that really sucks - she's mad small - how can you be a terminator if you're so skinny and small.
