The Beatles
That was a ridiculous name for the most influencial, talented, band ever! Without a doubt "The Beatles" were the best band of the 20th century. Just that name is a tad stupid!

Well, I was in two bands, even though I couldn't play an instrument very well. They put me on bass and told me what to do, and we had more basic music than the Ramones. The first was the Dinks of Doom, we were a rock/rap band before that was even popular. Too bad we sucked bad, or we would have been way ahead of the curve, back in the late 80's, early 90's. Our two main songs were "Does She Shit" which was about a very prissy girl at our high school. The first lines were, "Does she shit, does she shit, or is she too immaculate!" Our other tune was more rap like and was our title song, "We are the Dinks of Doom, there is none higher, if you fuck with us, you'll be in quagmire". Again, we sucked, but probably the only band to rhyme with the word quagmire.

The other band was more of a punk/metal band called Willknot, with our big hit "Snot Rag Woman". I'm pretty sure that title was ripped off from somewhere, just could never tell where. This band sucked too, but sucked less. I played bass and the cowbell. Moreso the cowbell though.

I think those two names qualify as pretty shitty names. I can't believe I missed this thread.

Coolguy.

How's about "Parts Found At SEa"?
Never heard of that one! LOL

What about Great Big Sea...although they are a pretty damn good traditional Canadian east coast band!

The funniest/sickest name I heard was "The Floating Nannies" - the band changed their name after hearing that the body of a nanny was found in the Don River - this was about 20 years ago.
