Dude. He's always been anti-interventionist. Fucks sakes, he was even against the war in Iraq. (even a broken clock is right twice a day). Imagine how much easier it is for him to oppose military intervention now that one of "them" is in the white house.

True republicans like Eisenhower were against US involvement in foreign wars, especially against those countries that were not a direct threat to the US, and also were against the close association between big corporatioins and politicians. Also, it was Democrats that got the US involved in Vietnam. It was also Nixon, a Republican, that got the US out of Vietnam, and opened the door to Red China; if the neocons had been in power then, it would never have happened.

Putin's media (like RT) make out as if Pat B is the smartest, most respected and popular politician in the US - instead of a fruit-loop playing in his own little stadium - because he can ALWAYS be counted upon to slam any foreign policy initiative ANY other politician comes up with and demand that the US stay out of wherever the hell it is today.
