Aside from Rudiger that German defense looks soft

First Argentina. Now Germany. Interesting indeed.
That 2nd goal by Japan was awful defending and goaltending from Germany. Very uncharacteristic.

I like Canada's chance for an upset, or at least a tie, Belgian's best player Lukaku will not play today.

Now if Germany lose against Spain they are most likely out.

A draw might still see them through

TSN 5 showing the pre-game stuff. Just featured the sword they brought over which has been planted to the Qatar ground.

Agata guarda stu pisci! The Spaniards look stupifying, Germany is in trouble, the Costa Ricans didn't even get a SOG.

Interesting lineup by Herdman, Ativa Hutchinson is playing as an unofficial sweeper - to create space for Staqui to operate. Junior Hollett starts in place of Cyle Larin, soaring star Tajon Buchanan starts on the right wing.

How sweet does my sweet love Janine Beckie look.

I feel like the Canadian media chose a left back to take our penalties with the non stop Alphonso love in.

Great goal by Belgium....sneaky...i had a bad feeling about those long passes that Belgium attempted a couple of times earlier.....it only takes a few seconds to sleep on it...

Mingia ce lai...Robert Lewandowski would have scored a brace, at least, with Canadian distribution.

Inexperience did us in, 21 chances created, only three SOG and zero second chances. This is what minnows Italy has to look forward to should they ever qualify. The spike on Laryea should have been a penalty, on the flip side Johnson's near scissor tackle could have been called a red card by a crabbier referee. Just being fair. Belgium played catenaccio, they never had less than five men in the box, then they struck with a lightning counter attack.

Canada did lots of good things, it's not over.
