I suspect the costs stated are for the structure alone for obvious the reasons you statedumm ... what about the cost of the land that sits under the shipping container? and the cost of sewage and power?
if it's someone else's land, like in a trailer park, you still have to pay rent
if you bought land somehow, well, that's not cheap, unless you bought in some rural area out in the boonies ... and you'd still have to pay local taxes on that land
You can do it with 4, but it requires some cutting and welding, then filling in the middle space with a floor.I figure if you took 8 of them and stacked the 4 on 4 you could make a nice 2 story home.
