Too close to home. I was just near by there this past Monday. Was at Lawerence Sq. Hope the lady is going to be OK.
Toronto is going right down the shitter...
...i remember the days ...15 yrs ago or so..when TO was the envy of many larger cities in the world..totally safe downtown..low crime rate. Now kids are murdered at school,people being shot at in the place of employment..Every day I read about Toronto and it's crime, it seems like it is becoming more and more like a crime riddled , decaying US city like Detroit ....

No, I have spent lots of time in Detroit and Toronto is not Detroit. Don't kid yourself. If you would like , I can offer some locations and you can go and walk around and come back and tell me the similarities between the 2 cities.
While we see some tragic situations in Toronto like this woman and the kid from Jeffries etc they are few and far between.

...I probably know a lot of the locations you speak of..I live a 45min drive from Detroit. I not saying TO is there now, but the crime in your city over the last few yrs is getting outta hand ..if you wanna take the attitude of "not that bad"..be my guest...but kids getting killed at school, people being shot in the middle of the day...a woman killed on Boxing day...yea..maybe not as frequent as some big US cities..but going down the same slippery slope...this is not the Toronto I knew 15-20 yrs ago..the envy of a lot of peopel, because of it's big city amenities, and relatively safe streets...

is this that common in toronto adult establishments though? as in them being robbed, violence, whatnot?
