IMHO, when you create special laws (or penalties) for certain segments of the population, Justice is no longer “blind”, as it should be, and all people are not being treated equally before the courts. Call it woke or whatever, it is just wrong headed, and leads to unintended consequences. The so called “vulnerable groups” are laughing at us.
