If she didn't drive a giant SUV she might have been able to see the small car behind. Also most vehicles have a rear camera but they don't work unless you look at the screen.

She felt bad and did apologize. I don't think she was blaming her husband. She wanted him to help her out by not parking behind her since she knew it was her deficiency because it's happened before. Regardless she could clearly see there is a car behind before she gets into the car. If not she should check before getting into her car since she and everyone else knows she has difficulty backing up. There was no argument.

I agree but we are human. Something like this happen to me at work. The other car was parked half of my car, rear parking at work it was a mess. Yes I saw it, It was Friday and wanted to get home. But the mind became clouded and ding.

In the video he claimed somebody else was parked on her right side last night who was visiting. So life happens.

Driving lesson 101 is: ALWAYS check around your vehicle before going anywhere. It's so simple and helps avoid issues. Sorry to say but she's 100% at fault.
