I have a laptop that I use regularly, when I travel, I use the Asus Netbook that have Linux installed.

Can someone tell me how to transfer the address book from Microsoft Outlook to Linux program. I believe it's their Office Program that came with it.

thanks in advance

It's actually an annoying difficult problem.
Microsoft has a "live mesh" system that is supposed to facilitate this, but it I've yet to see it work.

Install thunderbird on the *Microsoft* system, and it will offer to transfer the address book from Outlook. You can then either copy the thunderbird address book, or you can use a plugin to sync to other places, including for instance google. Try this search:

I dual boot on both my PCs, XP/Ubuntu & Vista/Ubuntu.

Ubuntu uses a slider-bar now to set up your Linux partition which is very easy to use. This makes it far easier to setup a dual boot system than a couple years ago.

Just defrag Windows before setting up your dual boot so Windows is pushed to the front of your drive, while Linux is installed on the back of the drive.
