While the election is over, and this is a bit old news, I couldn't resist linking to this article showing that Kerry got LOWER grades than Bush at Yale....

To farking funny, and look at that picture.

Yale grades portray Kerry as a lackluster student
His 4-year average on par with Bush's

By Michael Kranish, Globe Staff | June 7, 2005

WASHINGTON -- During last year's presidential campaign, John F. Kerry was the candidate often portrayed as intellectual and complex, while George W. Bush was the populist who mangled his sentences.

But newly released records show that Bush and Kerry had a virtually identical grade average at Yale University four decades ago.

In 1999, The New Yorker published a transcript indicating that Bush had received a cumulative score of 77 for his first three years at Yale and a roughly similar average under a non-numerical rating system during his senior year.

Kerry authorizes release of his full military and medical records. A7.

Kerry, who graduated two years before Bush, got a cumulative 76 for his four years, according to a transcript that Kerry sent to the Navy when he was applying for officer training school. He received four D's in his freshman year out of 10 courses, but improved his average in later years.

Just a coincidence I'm sure that those aggressive investigative journalists at CBS, NY Times and Newsweek didn't find this before the election. LMFAO

Who would have known, looking at Bush's performances where he went one on one with Kerry in the Presidential debates. Kerry outclassed him and made him look like a bumbling fool, to the point where even Republlicans conceded that Kerry bested him.

Of course, Americans still voted the idiot into office. Just goes to show that Americans want someone in office that they can relate to...

Mr. Luvr apparently thinks (probably not the correct word - when a toad attempts to use its brain, what is it doing?) that maligning the president is not enough. He then tries to use the president's supposed lack of intelligence to malign the American people. Instead he demonstrates his own unique combination of ignorance, stupidity and incompetence. Ignorance - a c+ at Yale (one of the world's finest colleges) is equivalent from a competitive perspective to A's at most other universities. Stupidity - only a stupid person continues to make the same mistakes over and over again, as a review of his participation in various threads demonstrates. Incompetence - the only matter that Mr. Luvr consistently proves is his general incompetence in all other matters.

Only a hardcore koolaid drinker might be dumb enough to believe that. What happened was that the idiots voted for one and he lost.

What I don't understand is how a Yale graduate can possibly speak the way GWB does. Sometimes he does sound a little....well, uneducated. Which makes me believe that he's putting the " aw shucks " schtick on. Which would explain a lot.

It is a carefully calculated image. What the intelligentsia couldn't grasp about Bush's performance in last year's debate- and still can't grasp now, apparently- is that Bush wasn't speaking to them.

Part of GWB trouble is, that he is dyslexic. My son has it as well. he is very smart, but he has a hard time articulating himself.
I prefer Trunc’s excuse, they make him look like an idiot on purpose just to rile the left wing intelligencia. I don't get the chimp part though. Who's that supposed to upset?

His Dyslexia is not an excuse..it's a fact. Why do you think that Texas schools are the most advanced in dealing with Dyslexia?
Even Canadian school districts get their material from Texas...

Don't forget to factor in, the Bush family dynasty and its big money, which carries substantial clout in the USA.
In the USA if you have these, you can pretty much go to any school you want no problem.

On that, " aw shucks " schtick, that looks pretty genuine....... :p

I think anyone who goes to Yale has to be rich and connected up the ass. GWB was no different.

Bush is definitely "painfully inarticulate." Sometimes I have to shake my head at some of things he says.

Public speaking prowess is not a definite indication of intelligence. Bush isn’t an orator but he doesn’t strike me a stupid.

Look at Cretin. He’s completely unintelligible. How come nobody comes down on him for the shit that comes out of his mouth?

Kerry positioned himself as an intellectual and a war hero. He was neither. He was a lame duck candidate.

Now don't go picking on poor ole Jean.
Did you forget how Jean used to get lambasted almost as much as Dubya?
Don't forget it was Jean who lept to the defense of Dubya when Dubya was accused of being a 'moron' by one of Jean's ministers with that memorable Jean Chrétien quote, "He's not a moron, he's my friend."

So since they are friends, cut Jean a little slack, ehhh? ....... :p
