Today in California, Judge Delucchi will tell us if Scott Peterson will indeed receive the Death Penalty for killing his wife Laci and their unborn son Conner.

Is anyone else as curious as I am to know the outcome?

Apparently Mark Geragos is calling for a new trial as well. This just in from the Modesto Bee.

Peterson moves for new trial

Scott Peterson of Modesto should get a new trial because the judge and =
jurors committed several errors in his trial last year, his lawyers =
argued in documents released this morning.

Scott Peterson has been sentenced to die by lethal injection. His motion for a new trial has been denied.

San Quentin has already stated that they are ready for him.

Not to beat a dead horse, but being found guilty for murdering an unborn child sets a precedence, doesn't it?

I guess you're just trying to get a rise out of someone. Only killed his wife and unborn child? Hey no biggie....

Also, we do not have the death penalty in Canada so your allusion to Bernardo is apples and oranges.

What exactly are you trying to say?

If I recall correctly, and I've killed the occasional braincell since I was a mod (did I mention I'm not a moderator anymore?) .... oh fark, where was I?

Let me start again.

If I recall correctly, trek5 is none other than our favourite psycho-troll, Asian Sensation. But I might be wrong.

*shrugs*

That might explain it.

the punishment should fit the crime . Scott doesnt deserve the death penalty , domestic violence happens all the time - capitol punishment exists everywhere except Canada .

OK, you've shown yourself to be too stupid to communicate with. Your attitude is warped AND your facts are wrong -- I can deal with one but not both. See ya.

Did you guys know that most of the evidence against him was circumstantial
The circumstantial evidence is pretty damning, but in order to sentence somebody to death u should have a lot more evidence than was presented in the trial. Personally I don't think he should be given the death penalty. The certifiable facts of the case do not prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he did it. Personally I think the evidence against O.J. was a lot more concrete.

Good point. A society gets pretty scary when they fry people based on this evidence.
I hope I'm never in the wrong place at the wrong time down south
