It not infectio
No. Skin to skin contact with someone who has lesions is sufficient. Apparently can even be transmitted via contact with bedding that an infected person has used.
Like a open cut or wound, the cases numbers are pretty low still, no need to panicked. It not highly transmitted like covid.

We should know in due time how it spreads to the heterosexual community

Do not shake anyone's hands, just to be safe. You can contract it by physical contact, and they are not sure if asymptomatic people can transmit it.

How is it spread from person to person?
The virus is spread through physical contact with someone who has symptoms. Rashes, body fluids (such as fluids, pus, or blood from skin lesions), and scabs are particularly infectious.

Ulcers, lesions or sores can also be infectious since the virus can be spread through saliva. Contact with objects that have been in contact with the infected person - such as clothing, bedding, towels - or objects such as eating utensils can also represent a source of infection.

People who have the disease are contagious while they have symptoms (usually within the first two to four weeks). It is not clear whether or not people who are asymptomatic can transmit the disease.

Apparently, indirect transmission through contaminated objects such as bedding and towels is possible. Might need to rethink incalls if becomes more widespread.

The monkeypox vaccine is only 85% effective btw.
So you will still see 15% breakthrough infections

Nope. I have good genes and had the chickenpox shot. The monkeypox, like covid, can kiss my ass.
