Strange choice for a half-time show... I don't think most people could name 2 Kendrick Lamar songs. And it's not like his music is something people can sing or rap along to.
It would have worked much better with appearances by a number of other high profile music acts, instead of Lamar doing the whole thing solo.

Never understood why they do that - really Kendrick - cmon now. Chiefs shit the bad, Eagles dominated and all they really needed was a true band to perform - and rock and roll band for the masses. Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Collective Soul, Black Sabbath

I don't understand why the half-time show has to be family friendly. Why was Janet Jackson when Justin Timbertalentless deserved to be squashed, then we get the horrifying spectacle of a tattooed cancer growth and J-Low's tampon. Gridion football is the most violent sport in the world, why not Metallica or The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Enough with the cheese!
