I think after Ferguson a lot of police unions simply said"Don't risk it"....."Don't give chase"..."Don't stick your neck out"...It would not shock me in the least if some of the criminal element were the ones who showed up in Ferguson to stoke the fires.There are some bad cops out there but there are a tonne of good ones who news media like CNN just painted in broad strokes.......

Chicago has always had a crime problem with mostly young men as the culprits. I've already posted about this multiple times.

Social dynamics, corruption, poor education system, and lack of opportunity..

Poor schooling or maybe poor parenting is the bigger factor, the schools are there. I highly doubt the teachers are illiterate, math deficient fools teaching classes.
The kids don't seem to be interested, it's how they're raised that's key and very pivotal.

I can tell by your posts that you buy into the fear mongering by the mainstream media of black men.

Rahm Emmanuel has closed down quite a few schools in black neighborhoods and done nothing to improve the current ones. The city was once industrialized but the lack of jobs has driven people into the inner city.
Yes, single mothers need birth control and it would be cheaper to make it more accessible to them than the overall cost of when they have unwanted children. Which group is against making contraceptives and abortion more available again?

Not to mention the corrupt past of the city with the likes of Torrio and Capone running it.
Before blacks ever got to the city Czech immigrants were seen the same as blacks, with young men committing crime like crazy.

Past segregation was also and issue, violence kept people on "their side" of the city.

Murder is as much a part of Chicago as the Cubs Bears Stock yards for over 100 years. Add Corruption with politicians Police etc as well as low unemployment this is what you get.
