Seeing lowland gorillas is on my bucketlist...
Was in the middle of a baboon group in West Africa once....we were trying to dodge an elephant and did a wrong turn thru the bush...wound up smack in the middle of about 50 of them
Kind of an OH SHIT moment...

Well, put it this way: An adult male chimpo is 5 x as strong as an adult male human. There's a photo of a hairless male chimp floating around the Net and he is built like not even Schwarzenegger was. Massive and rock solid.
Gorillas are twice as massive as chimps.
