Why the Catholic Church will never change

Old grey men.

Just watching "the Cardinals" parade into the Sistine Chapel. Lots of pomp, chanting, singing (at least when the camera are on them).

The Catholic church is losing numbers on an annual basis. They refuse to change with the times. No marriage for priests (limits your gene pool so to speak), no women priests, no birth control, no openess, no gay marriage - just blind obedience.

The "Dean of Cardinals" is over 80 according to the CBC.

The guy doing the prayer is 87.

All these guys are too fucking old.

115 "elderly gentlemen" the guy on the news just said.

Maybe they aren't in their 40's is because it takes a long time to work their way up the ranks. Considering some the screwy ideas spoken of by some on TERB in their 30's, it's may not be a bad idea.

Maybe that's why they put an upper limit on the age for the conclave. i believe it's 80.

Everyone has the right to believe in what they want. There are lots of people that do and preach about it when they want. I choose not to believe in any religion and never will.

Actually the Catholic Church most assuredly is growing world wide even the Roman Catholic Church is growing. Further there is a large difference between what the "Curial gang" at the Vatican think and say, and what those outside think and say.
