why i hate calling back clients

client calls i'm out doing personal things he leaves a number to call back i do and to my shock a kid answers the cell says "hello" me---> *CLICK*


now should i answer the calls from that number ?

i'm thinking NOT

Ill give him the benefit of the doubt that he;s not a complete idiot. Im guessing he may be a single dad and has his kid over or nephew/neice. Hopefully he would not give his home number if he were married. Also i would assume he figures youd call back, and be discrete and professional and ask for (insert name here) and off you go, conversation. Not assuming you would tell the kid why you were calling and to havethe kid take down some times for when daddy can come see you for a little yum yum! I surprised this hasnt happend more often to some degree or another

Just last week, my friend's young daughter got a hold of my cell and answered it when it rang.

maybe you just dialed a wrong number and hung up as far as she knows. If a wife is suspicious enough to call back over this theres trouble brewing there already im sure. Doesnt seem worth losing a client over to me but then i dont have to deal with it

I would think that most people would call you back at some point anyway - so hopefully you really don't need to worry about it.

if you are really worried then dont say anything until he says hello

i think thats what shes questioning. Should she take his calls if he calls and she sees his number on the call display. Just have something ready to say if you know its coming from his number. Simple as i must have dialed the wrong number

the guy coulve had friends over and a little kid grabbed the phone or his own (why did it happen - cause maybe he was upstairs taking a shower n left hiscell downstairs -- honest mistake
we dont really know but like someone already mentioned give him the benefit of the doubt since he might not even know whats going on

but the chances of any guy wanting that to happen is slim n next to none unless hes on glue
if i have to guess id say unexpected visitors or hes a single dad that is waiting for a sitter but i wouldnt jump the gun yet
also dont say hello when he calls if your worried a woman might call incase you need to verify its a man

hopefully all is well and you both get laid and laugh about how it almost didnt happen

I know a few adults that on the phone sound like a verry little child also. They really could be older than what they sound.

If you answer his call and akid answers, the best thing to do, to avert suspicion, is ask for the person you wanted to speak to by name. Hanging up will create more suspicion than following through with the call. If he called you and asked for a return call then he is obviously prepared for you, alibis and all, if necessary.
