Why do women have orgasms?

We're primates and have primitive instincts, that we have been somewhat successful at regulating. Women and men orgasm for different but related evolutionary reproductive reasons.

Once a man passes a woman's sexual gatekeeping, the women's orgasm is to become more attached to an otherwise reproductively valuable man. It's a stress reliever in a very basic reproductive way. Women who don't orgasm are often not happy or find other (non reproductive ways to relieve stress.

Men's orgasm is a necessary way to reproduce. No orgasm, no reproduction. It's a pretty basic instinct (need) for society to reproduce in general, and men in particular.

(puts a different perspective on incels)

Women's reproductive rights should, but clearly have not yet, turned to a right to have a man orgasm inside them, or give sperm to women by right.

Stay tuned, breaking news.

Evolution works on the simple basis of who doesn't make it to reproduction, not who does. There's no 'rights', nor 'right and wrong'. The only relevant issue is whose genes arrive in the next generation, So it's the genes that drop out and disappear because they didn't make it, that change things for the species.

The species already has women happy to orgasm just for fun, and those who do only with a man ejaculating inside them. If your scenario is to come about, there must be some factor in male-female interaction and sex that results in each generation of 'fun-seekers' dying childless, and smaller than the preceding generation. At this moment in time, my sense is when they do feel like reproducing they're the most likely ones to have it down to details and technological certainty.

When the news breaks, do let the great-great-grands know, won't you please. No need to mention the steady trickle of news about genes that have survived in tiny isolated populations.

Correct, there are no rights in evolutionary terms. Rights came about through social contracts.

Women have been far better at negotiating their side of the contracts.

To have a right to a mans sperm, sounded pretty over the top from my perspective. I underestimated the attractiveness, or at least the possibility of that being taken as a real possibility.

We're in real trouble if women can force men to orgasm to fulfill "a woman's reproductive right".

In other contexts that's clearly rape.

And completely off-topic, as well as far-fetched.

Simply purchasing the stuff would be easier and have less risk for either party. Why not start a new thread, if there's something behind this wacky notion? But if you do, it might be helpful to start off by saying it has nothing to do with 'incels'.

Or if being off-topic is OK by you, let me recommend the Handmaids Tale thread as a more comfy home for domination fantasies about reproduction.
