Why do sps play music during a session with a client

If TV is playing, it must be porn, then I'd be ok with it being on. This way I could look and say: Hey, can you do that?
Interesting because I saw a semi-regular indie who works out of her own apartment and she puts up porn on the TV during sessions thinking it gets us in the mood. But I told her that it's also a distraction to me too and asked her to turn it off too. She had no issues about that. I don't think I ever came across a SP who refused to turn off the music or TV but if I did, I probably won't see her again.

One of my favorites always played classical music when I was with her. It was never a distraction as it was not too loud and I liked to listening to it. Being in a hotel it can also serve to drown out noises not inside the room. Makes me less conscious of the loud noises she was making as well

Porn on TV would definitely be an issue if a pornstar was super hot and your date not so much. It's like watching a KEG commercial while eating hotdog.

To the OP:
When you have sex w a gf, so, non sp, do you listen to music? If so, there's your answer. If you request it off or something else, the sp will most likely happily oblige.

I like the sounds of sex, not music, when I am fucking.

It is very good communication.

Always liked to have music on during sex. Usually smooth soul or R&B.

Yes, that sets the mood. Some smooth jazz is good too.
Depends what type of mood I'm in as well; if it's a reg, and we have similar tastes, we'll listen to that.

It's interesting how different people's preferences are on this.
Seems the real message is "listen to your client and adjust".

Meh, might be a sign of incompatibility. I had maybe 2 clients (always first timers) ask me to turn it off, and those sessions ended up being weird and unejoyable. And they didn't repeat. Music was a part of my particular flavour/experience. 🤷‍♀️

Any kind of music is okay as long as it's not so loud you think you're at a concert. The latter happened only once because she liked loud music but unfortunately it was hard rap. She finally agreed to change it and lower the volume and things turned out great.

Interesting. I hadn't thought of it that way, but that does make some sense.

I don't mind music and couldn't care less what she plays as long as it isn't so loud that it hurts my hears.

You really enjoy the term "hooker" huh? :cautious:

Toxychem, Inc. used to be called Hooker Chemical when they were putting together Love Canal, so it's got a lot of negative connotations.

I put music on to set mood. As much for myself as the client.

And I always thought it was just to help maintain a beat. Live and learn, I guess...
