In the 1600's when famine was a real issue in Europe, fat chicks got guys hard. They weren't starving to death; so they were healthy and fuckable. In the 60's, we got into the mindset that exercise was important and excess weight was unhealthy. What happened?..... The Monroe ideal of the curvy chick w big boobs and ass went out the door and skinny chicks in outdoor, activewear and bikinis were considered more fuckable.

We're still working through the post 60's phase, although it's changing rapidly. Butt implants and "thicc" are becoming sought after.

Likewise, in many poor countries, fat chicks are desirable.

By and large, people are attracted to in-shape people. So when it comes to want, it's not surprising. It's biology.
By and large, people couple with those who are more or less in their range in terms of attractiveness. Or go without. That's just reality.
In the industry, it's a little different, because money greases the wheels and makes it so overweight, unattractive men can sleep with young, attractive women. Nothing wrong with that IMO, as it's what they're paying for. Though it may skew their expectations.

Part of it is the law of supply and demand: There is an abundance of large sized women, and a relatively small percentage of women are thin. Most guys want a slim woman, but you can't always get what you want.

Large sized women get pregnant more easily. That's the last thing a guy wants, when he just wants sex.

Guys know that only 0.148% of women lose weight when they're in a relationship. If a single woman is large, it's likely that she will get even bigger if the guy commits. Slim women gain weight, too, but not usually immediately.

Fat women usually have fat daughters. A guy wants a slim daughter, so that some young guy will assume the financial cost of her upkeep at a younger age.

There's also the status aspect. When a guy introduces his new girlfriend to his buds, he wants them to say Dude!!!!, not dude...

Cause men who are self conscious about themselves can be rather shallow. I understand not all large men aren't gonna be equally attracted to larger females but when one completely dismisses someone based on weight alone it irks me . I have quite a few large men in my life whom are attracted to girls of a similar body to themselves, I also have a few who are particular that the girl has to weigh under 120 for them to be romantic with . Guys are just as complex as us females is what I have come to the conclusion of.

I don't like the 'inclusiveness' factor associated with the term "BBW". Some very beautiful women happen to be plus size, but many large women are not physically beautiful, by any stretch of the imagination. There IS a difference between size 20 and size 40. It's like using the term 'mentally challenged' to describe both someone with an IQ of 60 and someone with schizophrenia. The state of being big, in and of itself, does not make a woman beautiful.
