If you assume the pic wasn't flipped or mirrored, then I would tend to agree with Sheik as there seems to be a traffic sign facing the opposite way on the street...indicating the traffic direction to be on the left side of the street (as in the UK). I'm sure you know in Italy, the traffic direction is on the right.

I'm sure you know in Italy, the traffic direction is on the right.

In Italy there is no direction for traffic, utter chaos.

Kiarra, based on the architecture and chimneys its the UK. Based on the road markings and signs, UK. There is nothing Italian about the background.

However the church steeple you see in the background is not italian, it looks familiar but I cant quite place the location. Might be Glasgow.

Agree, U.K. use the double solid yellow lines for no stop. As far as I know Italians use single solid yellow.
