Who's the nicest celebrity you've ever met?
I was stuck at an airport in Bolivia in 2010 with a ticket home but no cash, no food and a 10 hour wait. A guy sat by me in departures was playing on his phone, Candy Crush, I noticed he was level 3000+ not far off my level. I got talking to him and gave him a few tips, ended up explaining my situation. His well dressed friend kindly bought me an Egg and Cress Sandwich and a blue Slush Puppy, the Candy Crush guy told me the blue Slush Puppy was his favourite. Later when I boarded the lady who checked my passport explained it was Robert Mugabe, Former President of Zimbabwe. I will never forget his generosity.

Best: Hulk Hogan. Many years ago sat next to him on a flight from Miami to Baltimore on my way back to Montreal. Very pleasant and happy to converse.

Worst: Billy Joel. Around 1998 had a table next to his in a quiet restaurant in East Hampton, New York. I was with my wife (at the time) and young kids, He struck up a conversation, but quickly turned rude and sarcastic. Also not a pleasant sight watching him eat...

Nicest- Norman Fell, Mr Roper from Three‘s Company, quiet, reserved, unassuming and polite.

Worst- John Stamos, arrogant, condescending and a pig of a human being.

Met the drummer for Tool once at a show. Not a Tool show. He was drumming for some smaller band on the side. But it happened after Tool already rose to fame. For a guy who'd already gone on countless world tours he was super nice and chatted music with me for a while.

Best: Céline Dion. Never really been a fan but she was the nicest there is. Ho and maybe Guy Lafleur who I spoke for 30 minutes at his restaurant in Berthierville years ago.

Worst: Patrick Roy. What a prick he was... Probably still is.

Best: Tie - Placido Domingo, Rachel McAdams.

Worst: Bryan Adams, he gave me the "do you know who I am" shtick. I replied: relax, this isn't the summer of 69.

Weirdest: Mick Jagger, continuous awkward silence. He's so paranoid about his voice you cannot speak to him unless he speaks to you. When he finished his business I drove him to Signature Flight, he didn't even leave me a tip - I was pissed!

Two weeks later I was told he left passes for me to attend rehearsals for the Dirty Work Tour at Masonic Temple.

Toronto
Jose Canseco was pretty friendly.

Billy Harris (the younger hockey playing one). Played two rounds of golf with him in Bermuda.

Ian Thomas, very briefly. We spoke "Hoser".

Off the top of my head, I remember 2 celebrities I met.

The guy who played Mr Belding from Saved By the Bell at a club in Los Angeles. Nothing to special about that interaction. Then, from the same trip, met Tia Carrere on the flight back to Toronto. Again, nothing that special about the interaction.

A little sad when the biggest celebrity I met is Mr. Belding.

I have worked with many.
More than I’ll ever remember.
By far my fav was LL Cool J who introduced himself as “Todd”.
We worked together on a show for a few years in Hollywood.
Pleasant, humble, respectful, and enjoys a good laugh.

Must've been in a bad mood, or you pissed him off. lol

I met him in a bar and struck up a conversation with him. He bought me a drink, then after hanging out with him for an hour, he asked if I had plans for the following evening. I said no and he said, come to my show tomorrow night. I'll leave two tickets under your name at the box office. Super nice guy.
