Canada...
I want to get a last minute 'deal'/ best value and I want to deal with someone reputable/ honest/ etc., face to face. I have checked/ researched some travel websites and done my homework.

Any help would be mucho appreciated!

I understand Wetgirl may be a good tour-guide.
:D

I tend to be a do-it-myself guy, as I like flexiblity of picking my seats, iternary and know perks, if any.

For my complex Asia travels, Tour East was friendly with competitive rates. Their locations can be found on www.toureast.com

For budget travels, there is the place by U of T on college, near Beverly that does a lot of student & budget travel. They may have another location by Ryerson on Gerrard off Church. Now this is going to bug me as the name slipped my mind.

Flight Centre will match any price you find.

I have used them a dozen times and they have never let me down.

I have always had great service and pricing from Holiday Market, on Lakeshore, west of Islington

Do they beat your quoted price, or just match it? What's the incentive for someone who has never dealt with Flight Centre to have Flight Centre match a deal when they can just book their trip with the company that offered them the low price initially?? if Flight Centre beats the quoted price, then I would understand.

On my birthday in two days (Sunday morning), I'm taking off to Punta Cana for a week. We booked through www.exitnow.ca which is owned by Air Transat I believe. Their prices were on par with about eight of their competitors which I checked out. Booked online, received Air Miles and will pick up everything we need at the Air Transat desk at Pearson. We also booked our Puerto Plata trip with them a couple of years ago and had no problems back then.

They also have a storefront on Bayview Ave. between Millwood and Eglinton.

Thanks for the advice everyone!

Has anyone joined:

http://lastminuteclub.com

Is it worth the $40.00 membership fee?

:)
Many years ago before web popularity. Prices sounded good but when come time of booking either didn't have location I wanted or meet my schedule.

That's the place.

I think it is travelcuts. From what I know the services are mostly offered to students (they have locations on or near most university campuses), I see them all over place but then again I am a student so I see them on campus.

That's the place. Thx. Jennifer, good for you with the study. Did you get the 10 page paper done? You realize you are helping to beautify the student population on you campus.
