The number is arbitrary, but I get the point nevertheless, the risk is higher with closer contact.
Again personally, I am not going to hobby for now, but I have also done my shopping for nearly 2 months and don't plan to go to a store or near crowded places until the risk has been severely mitigated.
However, in terms of seeing SPs if you both practice good hygiene: taking hot showers and use mouth wash etc. like everyone should already be doing to avoid the sexual health risks, regardless of corona, there is not much more added risk. The virus wont stick around with hot soapy water.
It really depends on how hygienic and OCD the provider is about staying clean.
Out in public, there are many more ignorant people that don't bother to cover their mouth or wash hands after taking a shit. And in some sense, I'm glad corona helps these zombies wake up.
There is no reason to not wash in a developed country in the modern world. Especially when you live in a country like Canada with access to fresh water nearly everywhere.
Then they touch doors, money and other products on the shelves that someone else is going to touch or buy and bring home. There are claims that it lasts hours to a few days on specific surfaces.

Just about everyone outside the hobby has no idea how clean providers can be.
Of course there will always be ones that greet you with cum breath and a coochie stench, but hopefully you pick and choose clean providers.
There will never be any certainty, but you can get pretty damn close, especially if it is a regular and they are consistent.
I don't know if it's for better or worse, but a mandatory shower and mouth wash before and after sex seems to be pretty hygienic. And if you don't already do this, with corona it couldn't be a better time to start.
