I voted for Rob Ford in the advance polling. Tired of the professional career elitist politcians like Smitherman who belong to the spend and tax mentalilty who gave millions of untendered contract to their buddies(the provincial Ministry of Health, under Mr. Smitherman's watch, "sole-sourced" a $10-million contract to a company in which a former chief of staff worked.) Courtyard groups.
How can you trust someone who waste $1,000,000,000 on eHealth under his watch. He said he only accepted partly responsblity because it did not happened totally under his watch. Smitherman blame it on this on previous previous government and previous Ministry of Health.
For example if he was 10% responsbile that means he responible for wasting $100 million dollar.
The Career politicans like Smitherman have to realized that they work for the Taxpayer and they have to respect the taxpayer money. Rob Ford deserved to be Mayor based on his respect for the Taxpayer and his fiscal spending and management. He will find waste at City Hall. Toronto do not have a fiscal problems they have a spending problem. You cannot keep taxing and spending reckless without be accountable to the Taxpayer.
Vote for Smitherman or Pantolone you will get the same. More wasteful spending and More Tax. You will be tax to death and they will spend your money recklessly.
Vote for Rob Ford he will find way to cut waste and treat Taxpayer with respect.

With Smitherman he was a criticized for ignoring calls for an independent investigation into C. difficile deaths in hospitals, and he was unable improve the lives of nursing home residents who were often forced to sit in soiled diapers for hours on end.
Lets not forget the homosexual Smitherman got rid of Eye care(vision care) coverage on OHIP then allowed OHIP coverage for Gays who wanted sex change operation from (Man to Woman) (Woman to Man).
The latest Ontario auditor report covers the time George was in this portfolio.
You should read the latest Oct 20, 2010 Ontario auditor report criticizing the Health Minister of Ontario about the wasteful spending which Smitherman when he was in charged at the health Minister of Ontario portifolo.

Smitherman. Pantalone is better but can't win and Ford is so bad he makes Lastman look good. He will be the worst mayor in history if he wins. City Council Paula Fletcher, school board, Cathy Dandy.
All the candidates are terrible. Unfortunately, Ford's antics in council over the years have been shoddy and is a divider. Hasn't shown much vision for Toronto and almost sounds like a one trick pony.

Who care about vision for Toronto! Screw the vision for Toronto ...Vision is overhyped!!! Control wasteful spending and taxes ...then after that the fiscal wasteful mismanagment will be under control then you can look to start building for the future. Prudent fiscal responbilities will result in more money in the budget to built a better city after you eliminate the debt. Why keep paying hundreds millions of dollar on interest expense on Toronto debt. Vision is just an excuse for left wing groups or socialist or unions or leftwing politicans to keep on increases taxing and increase wasteful spending at the expense of the Toronto taxpayer.
Fixed the fiscal mismangement and then you can have your so called vision to built a better city!

Ford's going to cut ridiculously small items, like saving on 45 metropasses, and a few million bucks on council office expenses. Meanwhile he's going to cost hundreds of millions through TTC gaffes and other fuck-ups, which he will lie about. It will likely take someone on council conducting a hostile audit to cut through his lies and uncover the fact that he's bankrupted the city through his idiotic bumbling.
To wit, he hasn't demonstrated he understands what "fiscal plan" means, the thing he released and called a "fiscal plan" was no such thing--it said he was going to cut taxes and spending all the while building billions in TTC infrastructure and not impacting services. That's not even laughable, it's like you asked a 2 year old for a budget.
