No matter what city, town, etc there is always going to be undesirable people. I would actually have to include YOU in this profile! You think you are a class above everyone else? Think again! Your arrogance and attitude makes a totally undesirable, ugly hearted person of whom many would ever want to associate with!

Ok, my 2c for what it counts.....
I am not racist, far from it....there are great people and absolute arseholes...regardless of race, creed or colour...but my observations having been in this country for 5 years....yes I am an Immigrant...Yes LancsLad, I am from the other side of the pennines.......
Speaking as a former Insurance Broker...the standard of driving in Canada is pretty poor across the board... Avoidable accidents happen to everyone, even myself by poor judgment recently....but... I have to say, some of the more 'interesting' claims I saw came from clients of asian extraction... Also the highest maintenance clients I dealt with were of asian extraction. If I were to localise it more, I would have to say clients from the Phillipines....but this may well be only the brokerage I worked for.
I am no longer an insurance broker, I now work in the IT field, managing the IT envoironment for a global company, and again some of our strangest problems come from the AsiaPac region.
I use the Go train to get to work frequently, and when I am on the night shift, I am arriving back at the go station at around 8am. Recently I find that when I come out of the station and head to my car, there are people waiting in the Kiss&Ride who follow people arriving back to their vehicles simply to get their parking space....These individuals are always asian (based on 1 weeks observation).This simply would not occur to me to do. I would find a space and walk. I like to play silly buggers.....I go to my car, put my bags in, grab some change then walk back to the store or coffee shop to buy something...leaving the individual who has followed me to my space frustrated.
I want to reiterate, I am not prejudiced, I have good friends of many extractions...but I do take the piss out of everyone equally, starting with myself... Hell I come from a country that ran most of the world on Tea and cunning use of flags..... It takes all sorts to make a world and a society..and you have to admit, life would be bloody boring if it didnt.....

ironically, i have been in 3 accidents in the last 7 years... none my fault- 2 of them were in Brampton... funny thing- they shared the same last name! Singh, which I am not sure what ethnicity that is...
the other time I got T-boned was in Wasaga Beach by a 42 year old male from Woodbridge. yeah, he was Italian. and the bastard came out of his car cursing and swearing at me for going through a green light!!! he shut up pretty quick once i got outta the car, though.

I am not sure about being classified as a "mature driver", but as a young female I do pay less on insurance then a male my age. Young, white males pay the highest rate and this does not surprise me at all. I travel the 401 everyday and my god...some of the things I have seen!neoleo said:

Funny story relating to BJ's while driving.....
I used to date this woman who was from Quebec and we used to go visit her folks there quite often.
So one hot august we were getting ready to leave and our car didn't have A/C so I told my GF just to wear her bikini and a pair of cutoffs. Then we'd remove the T tops and she could work on her tan along the way.
So she falls asleep while we're driving and I do a little finger walking through the tulips. Well she woke up when she had a BIG O and while being surprised, was quite pleased.
Well, when we finally arrived at her folks place her dad wanted to take the car for a spin (he'd never seen it) so he gets into the driver's seat and says in french to the GF: heyyy why is the steering wheel so sticky? LOL oh man, I just about Peed myself......she told him it was because we stopped for a cinnabon along the way but I was thinking, CINnabon? more like SINabum!!!
