When you say Black Lives Matter you support the Marxist group BlackLivesMatter.com ...
No, when you say Black lives matter, you are saying (and maybe even believe) Black lives matter. Donating money to one of the MANY BLM or racial justice groups would be supporting that group.

Love the way you use "Marxist" as if it's a serious insult.

Why do you ignore this...
or this
or this
or this
and hundreds of more incidents committed by Black Lives Matter activists.

Majority of people who support this statement and that donate to BLM donate on the website BlackLivesMatter.com where does the money go then, what does it fund, what does it really support. But they tell us they fight systematic racism to give them free reign to do what they want with no accountability.

There are exceptions
I found the leprechaun and the announcer doing a cheezy Irish accent at 3:00 offensive. The rainbow being jumped over might be offensive to other groups. I'm not quite sure.

Are you suggesting that dealing is primarily a black activity?

It might be more visible that poor black kid hanging at the street-corner trap is dealing but there are plenty of stock-brokers, business people, and waiters dealing on the side too.
Hey since we are on TERB, the same issue exists for streetwalkers versus escorts in nice condos and hotels. Law Enforcement doesn't have to be racist to focus on crime conducted on the streets. (I bet the Toronto community is not too thrilled with street prostitution.) It's very likely the neighborhood has complained about drug dealing in front of their homes and businesses.

Have those people told you to hire less qualified people because they are black or have they simply tried to make you aware that people from different cultural backgrounds display characteristics like confidence and ability in different ways? (PART ONE)

As I said, there are numerous studies where they sent out identical job applications and found that the ones with ethnic sounding names got called back at a much lower rate than the ones with typically western names. (PART TWO)
(Part One) The answer has depended on the organization. It has varied from hiring a black candidate being suggestive all the way to we think this is a great spot to bring in a Black candidate into the organization. If that sounds like a subtle quota, I will leave that to everyone to decide for themselves. As I mentioned, hiring a Black candidate is not where it ends. Competent Black employees usually require more consideration. They know that they are a special class in Corporate America, Their expectations are shaped by this reality.

(Part Two) Yes, I'm sure ethnic sounding names is an issue in some hiring situations. The United States' efforts at Affirmative Action or social balancing are trying to redress that. I don't know how society completely wipes out people's bias towards people like themselves. Thirty years ago, it was very obvious that in certain Canadian organizations that being of an Anglo background was a prerequisite to rising up the hierarchy. That has changed dramatically.

Again, did any of them tell you to hire an unqualified candidate simply becaus etheir skin colour?

Thank you for admitting it after repeatedly arguing against it.

Are you saying memes are somehow a sign of intelligence?
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

You sure can.
Saying BLM is just refusing to say ALM.

Now why wouldn't you want to say all lives matter, are you a racist or something? There must be some set of lives that don't matter for you to not be able to say All Lives Matter.

So the real question is what lives don't matter?
So what's the problem saying both?

You must be responding to someone else here. I was just completing the Oscar Wilde quote which you referenced partially.

It's redundant.
Please don't be redundant.
Haha. You're asking Frank not to be redundant. Some of us have been asking this of him for the last couple years.

I think I know where you are going with this question. I'm probably not going to give you the answer you are seeking.

I think anyone who hires for management positions knows there is a great deal of subjectivity in what determines who is qualified and who is not. It is not as black or white (no pun) as hiring say a bus driver or a pipefitter. Some times, if a search is difficult you lower your expectations and become more flexible on qualifications. For some positions, you have greater expectations that you absolutely require be met.

You have to take my comments in this thread all in context, but I will try to answer your initial question more directly. Yes, I have been told by HR to work with a specific diversity recruiter on filling a position. That means the diversity recruiter will find you black candidates at the exclusion of all other candidates. What generally happens this is not as easy as it sounds in many industries. The searches take two-three times longer with this racial component. Over the course of that time, you might lower your expectations because the business desperately needs that position filled.

You have to realize I do think the society is better off for advancing Blacks in American enterprise and in my professional ranks. I have not been arguing against it. Where are difference lies is how we look at the racial issues in American enterprise. I don't see competent Blacks being held back. Far from it. There are certain advantages that far offset the racism a Black person encounters.

You might argue the flowery HR language that diversity and inclusion creates a more productive workforce. I've never really seen that where I have worked. I'm sure there are a few businesses where knowledge of the Black market and the Black culture are very valuable. Most of those companies have figured out that to maximize success they need diverse backgrounds in their ranks.

Doesn't change the fact that poor, often non-white drug dealers suffered severely from the war on drugs while wealthy, often white dealers tended to walk.

Yes, it is significantly a wealth issue but in the US, there is a huge economic disparity between the white and black communities.
