Which one would you pick up...?

Which one is\\would you say is best for emails, text, and checking pm's ;)

I’ve checked cnet.com to compare reviews but they all pretty much have the same ratings, still I don’t know which would be best, for my case.

Any imput would be great!

well then again, you could do all those features with normal phones, well not neccessarily "normal" (i.e. moto razr) but more of the newer phones. For example, with my K800i i can access gmail, and browse the internet, txt message etc and it comes with a flashing 3.2MP camera :) however, with the PDA type device, you will have the convenience of the QWERTY Keypad. Also with the PDA Type device im sure the provider will give you better internet deals? for me once i decided use all the internet/email features and i had a hefty bill.

How about an Hp iPaq? It's a Window's Moblie based product, with Outlook, Word, Excel, Cellphone, Camera and GPS?

I love my Blackberry but in all honesty prefer a Window Mobile device.... and i am a Mac/Unix guy.
I was using unlocked Symbian phones for a while and then back to the Blackberry....now i am using a Windows Mobile Device and love it. I would go with the Palm before the Q.
If u r with Telus the HTC P4000 is definitely worth a look.

I have a Treo 600 and looking at moving to the 700p. BB are great if you are an email based person, but I think the Treo has more software options - sepcially from the public domain.

I have both a blackberry and a treo and I find myself using the blackberry more for work than the treo. I find it easier to browse terb with my BB and I only use my palm for my GPS and a backup phone.

My advice is to use the blackberry over the treo, but the nokia you got posted also looks good. Another option would be to switch to fido and get a hiptop.

I know I am going to raked over the coals for saying that, but where else can you get unlimted data for only $20. Also for what your doing a hiptop would do just fine. Its a shame that fido no longer sells them so its hard to find one. If you know anyone who is selling a hiptop please let me know.

Thanks

Don't know if Bell carries Pearl but you can't beat a Blackberry I have a Treo as well and it is like all other Palm products - the operating system and utilities are second rate.

The Blackberry is realiable and I have travelled to Europe, the US and Caribbean and the service is amazing( I am with Rogers) I have friends that travel to the far east and the service is also seamless - in fact I called one of them without knowing he was in Hong Kong and if he had not told me I would never have found out.

The unit is realiable and integrates with Outlook without problems.

You might want to look at leaving Bell as you cannot replace the Sim card with their products if you travel.

HTC 6800

Or how about HTC all together are they any good?

Thank you

HTC is pretty good. They were originally and ODM who manufactured devices for other brands and in the last 2 years went with their own designs.

Don't know specifically about the 6800 but I know a couple TyTn users in the US and they love it...so a smaller lighter version is probably good.

I am personally looking at the s720 for a personal phone.

Blackberry Pearl

I have had a treo and now have a Blackberry....

I will honestly say I LOVE it... its easy to navigate, comfortable to use, long lasting battery, good reception and frankly a far more attractive phone... I have a red one and a white one....

The Blackberry syncs well with Microsoft Office Outlook and manages the data well, and the email options are convenient and the display is very clear.

You get quality pictures as well as clear ring tones. You can purchase extra memory for your blackberry and it stores nicely under the battery so unlike the treo it is easily removed of lost in case you carry senisitive stuff.

BEST FEATURE... Recharges really fast.

Ok can ya tell I love my phone...:)

yes the new world blackberry this was my first pick, but after my friend get it, i got to play around with it a little. Nice looking phone but the little ball in the middle is hard to control, and the keys are to close. I rather the scoll on the side like the older blackberry's.
