I don't know a single girl who has had saline for more then 3 years and not had a problem with them.
I have!
As for the Breast cancer thing, you just have to be sure to go to a radiologist that it trained in doing mammograms on persons with implants. The mammogram itself does increase the risk of your implant rupturing though because the breats has to be squeezed so hard.
I had mine done 3 1/2 yrs ago at Toronto Western Hospital. They were done by a resident in Plastic surgery who was supervised by the head surgeon in that department there. The cost then was $2,400. There is a very long waiting list, I had to wait almost one year. I have not had any problems at all with them and they are saline. A friend of mine had hers done there as well about 5yrs ago and she also has no problems with hers. I didn't even know she had hers done until she told me.
I do believe that a good surgeon is a great start to getting implants that are natural looking. You also have to keep in mind that if you plan to go from an A cup to a D cup they are likely going to look enhanced no matter how good your surgeon is. So much depends on how much real tissue the woman already has to help cover the implant. For people who are very skinny with not much breast tissue to begin with it is generally reccommended that the implant be placed under the muscle.
