Where ever you feel like, All the major carriers will have it. I'm a long time BlackBerry user so I won't be getting the iPhone anytime soon!

New Defective Apple Iphone 4 with Inborn Defects!

Any Apple Store, or from our known Rip off Server Giants Rogers, Bell, And Telus!

But its senseless to buy the New Apple Iphone 4 with TECHNICAL, DESIGNING, & CALL DROPPING DEFECTS, till Apple is able to resolve all these issues in their newly launched Iphone, i would not spend such a big amount for a defective electrical gadget, by Apple giving me a case which somewhats saves the signals, but the defect is still there in their new Iphone 4, i would pass their Iphone4 for the moment, i am pretty happy with my Blackberry Bold 9700 its a fantastic cell phone, then go and buy a headache for myself by calls dropping and weak signals, and if one catch Iphone in his left hand the Iphone drops all signals and its just like a dummy toy for children! Apple has to redesign completely a new Iphone may with their series as 5 with ZERO DEFECTS, then only the Apple Customers would put their hand on their product, or who wants a deffective electrical gadget, Sorry Not My Cup of Tea this time with Apple Inc.

I am thinking that it may be wise to wait till all the problems are resolved. I also suspect that
there will be new Iphone and Ipad immitators soon. Waiting is your best bet.

Straight from Apple, I prefer unlocked phones so I can just stick another countries SIM card in when I travel and not getting charged roaming by rogers!

I think if you buy an iPhone in Canada, it gets locked unless you pay full price.

Apple store for the full unlock. Travel a lot so I love my prepaid.

No more of these jailbreak and unlock games which I think are dead anyway

Rogers, their coverage is best out in the boonies where I live. Everyone elses sucks.
Have you taken any steps to do so at this point? I signed up for their iPhone 4 news bulletins but haven't heard anything since the July 30 announcement was made. Do you need to pre-order with Rogers?

Is there any difference if you buy the iPhone from Rogers vs. the Apple store? (my carrier is Rogers)

Have you tried in recent months with a new phone? Areas that had lousy reception before might have good reception now with the bell/telus 3G network. You have to try a newer phone that uses a SIM which an iphone 3g/3gs/4 will be..

The only difference I found was while the local Rogers store was out of the new iPhone 3GS, I was able to find it at my local Apple store. I'm guessing they had more of a supply. Don't know if the same will hold true with the iPhone 4 when it comes out next week?

I can answer a couple of your questions.

Data plans:
Data Plus 200 MB of data for $15/month
or
Data Pro 2 GB of data for $25/month

I wouldn't need the pro but maybe you do especially don't use wifi all the time.

You will get a choice of a free case. (They are not able to make enough bumpers, though you may be able to get one anyway)

I doubt you will experience any upside down texting problems. (problems like this only usually effect 1 in a million people or so)

The iPhone 4 comes with IOS4.0 there is no way around that. It will not make the iPhone 4 slow. The only phone that is becoming slow is the iPhone 3g which is 2 years old. I installed IOS4.0 on my 3GS and its faster then IOS 3.1.2 and it is better (folders, multi-tasking, rotation lock, etc.)

Yes, the big difference is that it's unlocked so you can choose your own carrier and swap pay as you go sim cards when you travel. The president of Rogers wasn't to happy when Apple allowed this, he came out with a lame statement to try and scare customers into buying from Rogers and was something like "we can't guarantee you will get the same signal service as you would if you bought it from us".
Everyone just laughed at this!

Was at a Rogers store and they said they're expecting approx 60 iPhones per store on Friday and that if you order over the phone it could be a while before you receive delivery. Prices to remain the same ($200/$300).
