According to Mick Foley, there is no one tougher than The Iron Sheik.

He represented Iran in Greco-Roman Wrestling at the Mexico City Olympics. For awhile he was The Shah's bodyguard before moving to the USA. He was also a locker-room policeman, especially when a wrestler deliberately injured other wrestlers. While at All Japan Wrestling, Colonel Kurchner developed a reputation for injuring jobbers. So The Iron Sheik took it upon himself to mete out justice. In a hardcore match, Sheik put Kurchner in the abdominal stretch, it turned out to be shoot and Kirchner popped a hernia - message sent.

The WWE was at a low point when Diesel was champion. Kevin Nash has always been more low key than Taker in interviews and he's had chronic knee problems. Always wanted to know what he thought of Brett Hart. They worked a feud together to get Nash over while he was champion. Brett ended it when he told McMahon to hire Austin, he said they could create magic in the ring.

I wasn't a Diesel/Kevin Nash fan either...when he went to the WCW he got a lot of power backstage and some say his ego got in the way.

"That 'evolution of the business' is bulls**t. Yes, they should be protected. But the superkick is just a part of the flow of the match. Nobody wins with it. What does that say to you? Does that say guys back in my day were more proficient delivering a DDT or a superkick than in this generation where 'things are evolving'? I want some proof of that s**t. I want somebody to prove to me that the changing of the wrestling business is at what it is today and it's making a difference. I say no. I told a kid the other day at AEW (All Elite Wrestling) that everybody does the same f**king spot. All you guys go outside. You cluster up like coils. You stand there in a huddle, friends and foes together, side by side so you can catch some leaping idiot going over the top who never wins with this move. They are looking for the "Holy s**t" chant. They love to hear, "This is awesome". It's a spot, folks. It's a trapeze act. I don't buy into that. The DDT is a great finish and should be used as such."

If you haven't seen Fighting With My Family, your doing yourself a disservice. It's one of the best films of 2019, Florence Pugh is sensational and the supporting cast is excellent...probably Vince Vaughan's best role.

I didn't know who Paige was when I first saw the film. I'd been done with wrestling since Eddie Guerrero's death. She revolutionized the women's division but had to retire due to cumulative neck injuries - at the ripe old age of 24.

Currently the most popular wrestler in the WWE is 5" tall. She doesn't even have to wrestle and still pops the fans.

I feel sorry for Ronda Rousey, Bliss was to get her over. It turned out to be a squash, the fans booed hissed and roared at Rousey and pelted her with garbage as she made her way back to the dressing room. She's been hated ever since.

I had to verify this to find the truth, Ronda Rousey has burned her bridges with the WWE. She said wrestling is fake and called fans fucking ungrateful. This is kind of sad since she worked very hard to improve her skills. She didn't mince words saying, "anyone who's outraged by me calling wrestling fake fighting for fun has never been in a real fight".

This brought out some very angry tweets from other wrestlers. One in particular stands out, Nia Jax said, "if she shows up in a locker room, I'll knock her the fuck out". Rousey doesn't take a punch well.

There were some classic scenes in Night Court.

Also Remember when Mickey James grabbed Trish Stratus's crotch?

Hulk Hogan is an asshole, he got lots of mileage body slamming Andre the Giant. Ernie Ladd did several times after Jean Ferre moved from Montreal to Maple Leaf Wrestling. Ladd made him a sensation.

I was wondering if any of the other would be female wrestlers from Fighting with my Family made it to the WWE. Summer Rae's scenes in the film (as Kristen) are memorable. Paige is considering a comeback.
