I know I could look up google or weather network, but for the love of God, when is this supposed to end? Is this what we're in for all summer? I don't mind anything up to 28.

I don't mind anything up to 28 so long as humidity is low, but it felt like 44 degrees today. Thank god I'm on night shift, although sleeping in the daytime hasn't been that comfortable lately. Apparently we're supposed to get the worst of it on Wednesday, then it will taper off by Saturday.

I got an email from my old school mate from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

He said, last week it was 55 C.

So thank heavens we are in Canada.

Whadda Wuss! It's only just begun!

Just kidding, I like it a bit cooler, myself. But, hey, any excuse to justify knocking back a few cold ondes.

I'm a wuss alright. Last summer I was in Death Valley CA and it was in the high 40's and quite frankly much more tollerable than it was today in Toronto.

I've got a tee off time tomorrow afternoon, I'm thinking of wearing a tank top and my boxer shorts. To hell with the course dress code :D

the difference is the humidity.

during many summers, in the past several decades, Toronto had its share of heat waves. more will arrive in the months and years to come so you might as well get used to it.

I'll take a humidex of 40 over a windchill of -30 any time. Soon enough we will get another 9 months of cool/cold/crappy weather. Don't wish the heat away!
