Do you really believe anyone else, regardless of the stripe of their politics would do a better job?? It's new hence the Novel virus, pressure is coming from everywhere, they panic, they lose sleep. I wouldn't want to be in Justin or Doug's shoes. At least both are working together, trying their best, and yes, will fuck up. This is why I will say if I don't agree with something but I will not beat either over the head with it for the sake of ideology.

Your statement of course is loaded negatively towards one party and the is the Federal party because you are entrenched in Right-Wing only knows best polictics. You will go out of your way to bash Justin and any Liberal politician yet will close your eyes or defend a Conservative to the point of nauseam.

One more thing, if a Federal election is called this year, one guess who's winning a majority!!!!
Right wing? lol...look at all your post sir before you accuse me of being right wing...I swing both regardless of who's crying most...You may trace back your posts from 2016 if you want, never read them but i can tell what's there...Liberals will probably win the next 2-3 elections...it has been great...MJ is legal focus on sex workers have been laxed....what's not to like?

I am center slightly left but have voted Conservative in the past. I voted actually voted for Harper on his first reign and I also voted for Harris which I quickly regretted. I don't believe you can claim the same without lying through your keyboard.

You're wrong...really wanted Trudeau to beat Harper...still thought he'd do better the 2nd term....he's been proving me wrong...wouldn't want O'toole to win either...

Health Canada says we could see heavy restrictions lifted by July as we ramp up vaccinations. By no means they are saying we are returning to normal life, we still have to mask and physical distance.

I must be a lucky guy.

I was totally stunned how easy it was to book a covid shot and the organization at the vaccine clinic at St. Michael's Hospital was outstanding. I live in the west end of DT, but door to door return by car was like 45-50 minutes, including the mandatory 15 minutes post injection wait to see if you might have a bad reaction. I did not know that the public sector was capable of operating so effectively. And I am hard to impress.

In terms of the end of the lockdown, I am not overly pessimistic. There will be no great positive announcements until the normally prime travel long weekend of May 24th is over. But the vaccines are rolling pretty well at the moment. I think the last week of May we will get news of the lockdown being rolled back going into June.

Hope SO !!!

The stay-at-home restrictions will not be lifted earlier than middle to end of June. We're stuck at over 4000 for the past week, 2 weeks after the initial lock down measures. For sure, the VOCs now taking over is a different kind of beast we are dealing with.

Lockdown summer on the horizon unless people take the required measures seriously I’m afraid.
