You might recall my thread of a few months ago where I was stood up by Laura on three separate occasions. Having moved on from that "rejection" (!) I made an appointment with Tanya/Tiffany a couple of weeks ago. I confirmed that morning via PM and arrived in her neighborhood on time, only to find her... missing. I drove around for an hour, phoning every 10 minutes or so. My calls were variously unanswered, or answered then disconnected. (Hung up, or lost signal).
After accepting Tanya's explanation via PM, I tried again. Once again, I arrived on time, only to get no answer on the phone! So I drove around again, wasting $1.35 gas. Eventually she answered, only to advise that friends had invited her out for dinner, so she decided to go rather than keep my appointment. To her credit, at least it was an honest answer, and not the usual "family emergency"!
Tanya has many fans on here, and by most accounts, she is a wonderful provider. But it's unlikely I'll call again. Honoring an appointment should be something a guy can rely on, shouldn't it? Perhaps they don't realize that we spend the day looking forward to seeing them, only to be let down, which, in my case anyway, just pisses me off...! So we go home, kick the cats, yell at the neighbors, and beat the children.
We have often read threads on here about girls getting pissed at guys that don't show, and this is understandable. If we would all just learn to keep appointments we have all made, or at least have the decency to cancel in advance, this hobby would be a hell of a lot more fun!
