What's with new trend men painting their nails?

I've never seen a dude in real life with painted nails. Sure some subculture like goth or emus but I don't know any of those
However everything is turning gay so. First they took rainbows, then they took all the cool names like Biff and Lance, then they took over industries like Steel, Aeronautics and the railroads. Now thing.

I paint my nails (finger and toes) with clear nail polish. I think they look nice.
When the polish starts to peel, I remove it with nail polish remover and keep them natural for a couple of weeks.
I like to soak my feet in epsom salt (lot's of different types), grate/sand my heels and apply a nice scented lotion on them.
Every so often I get a manicure and pedicure and she will put clear polish on them for me.
I do have some colored nail polish (black and dark blue) but have not used them yet.

It's not a trend, you just have to stop hanging out on Church St.
I don’t do the polish but goddamn I do love a good pedicure. I didn’t even discover pedicures until I was 45.
Imagine this guys; you get your calves and feet massaged, cleaned, clipped and you sit in a massage chair and you get to PUT YOUR BRAIN ON HOLD for 45 mins.
All for $40.
I walk out of there a changed man.

Lolz. I've been able to keep my hands nice, but I do want to try getting pedicures. My feet get beat up. Pedicures apparently stave off a lot of problems.
My friend who is an avid runner, like competing in, and occasionally winning marathons paints his toenails orange. He buys some special polish that is suppose to have something in it that helps the strength of the nail under extreme duress.
For athletics, health and wellness, or if you’’re some type of heavy metal or rock and roller, understandable.

To say that sucks for all women is an understatement. But yes keep them hidden.
Or I will, (and have) go into hiding for that week.
Athletes have done it for a long time. Helps with cracked nails. Lots of UFC fighters, like old school Chuck Liddell have been doing it for decades.
