I'm a picky eater. I tried goat and hated it. Ditto for lobster, crab, and squid. Drank tiger blood for medicinal reasons. That's as 'crazy' as it gets for me. For reference, Anthony Bourdain said his worst tasting dish was a hog's anus.

But I want to try vulture meat. They have such a unique diet and, apparently, a rank smell. To conquer my irrational fear of them I want to consume one.

I have ate snail, locusts snake, and wild dogs back in the day when I visit my grandpa who lived in what you'd call a jungle. Whenever a horse dies they make it a jerky as well...

Mine is a bit odd but not too odd. Seal meat or polar bear. Hopefully in that order so it’s like a 2-4-1.

Maybe I’d try snake. I’ve seen squirming snakes in Hong Kong on the menu. That’s a little far for me.

I had a lot of firsts this past month. First overseas FMTY, first cruise and wait for it...first time trying escargot! I consider myself picky too BUT I do at times try something new if my FOMO alarm is going haywire. I didn't order a whole platter but I tried one and that's all the counts :cool: . Texture wasn't for me but the sauce was what made it edible.

Snake in HK, emu (steak-ish), kangaroo (venison-ish), gator and croc (pork-ish), eel, Balmain bugs (lobster-ish), fish eyes, livers of various sorts, witchetty grubs (cooked prawnish) tarantula (also prawnish once cooked).

A Korean girl who works at one of my favourite dining establishments. She's not 'flawless' but there are certain very enticing elements about her that are very specific to my singular tastes.

I love escargot. Even when I was a kid. I would try to find snails in the park and try to fry them in a pan. LOL

I've had alligator, frog's legs (tastes like chicken), duck hearts, haggis, blood (black) pudding, pig's ears....

I'd like to try snake just out of curiosity. And sea urchin.

I can honestly say that in my lifetime I will never try to eat vulture meat.

Exotic/unusual foods I have eaten

Sweetbreads = not a fan
Turtle soup = surprisingly good
Gator = not much taste and quite chewy.

When I was younger I used to work with a few Vietnamese guys. They would bring in the craziest foods for lunch. I remember them trying to get me to eat this duck beak but I refused to try it.

I have also had chicken hearts, they are very good.
Frog legs are ok, taste a bit like chicken. Wierdest thing I've eaten is cow brains. Tasted I bit like tuna.
