Now I have seen a few of you on here COMPLAINING about SP forms on their website.

Why is it you have a problem with them so much?

Don't you realize we need to be safe in our line of work and we have to know that you are legit?

I wanna hear you thoughts on this.

And if you think there is a BETTER way to make appointments, I would like to hear them also.

Forms

I realize your need for security, safety and low profile. The only problem is we need the same low profile, safety and security....And filling out a form will only drive us to providers who do not require one.

The next this we will hear is that service providers will want our drivers licence numbers.

I won't even leave a telephone message. If that means I won't see you - too bad for both of us.

No propblem with long forms - if they work. Chantel's doesn't - I tried to send her a message saying her form doesn't wortk - prolly 'cos I'm on a Mac and use Netscape, but by the time I had edited the message to 1,000 characters, it disappeared on me, and I would have had to start all over again! Arrggh!!!

Ms. Moore, if you wanna PM me, I can give you all the cheerful details you need to help plan your next exciting visit to Toronto. If you come, of course, considering all the face masks, piled bodies in the streets, and general gloom caused by the plague.

Cheers

The problem with forms, and God knows we fill out enough of them already, is having to fill out YET ANOTHER form makes this process so much more tedious...........it becomes an assembly line of sorts............so depersonalized for my tastes.

Unquestionably a PM is much more personal, and you can simply request that the individual provide basic information that you require before writing back (look at Sam J's website, and Astrid..........they ask for info on a PM, and it's a simple way to make introductions.)

It's not meant to diminish your need for security, we all know you need that, but who needs to fill out another form................didnt we all just fill one out 4weeks ago............for revenue canada ?

An e-mail address is a valid alternative. I have several which protect my identity while give you some measure of "security?".

Forms are intrusive. As pianoman points out, it's hard for us (clients) to feel low-profile & secure when we have to answer a bunch of questions. Look at it from the client perspective - you are seeking personal security while trying to weed out potential bad clients, by asking us to trust you and answer all your questions in a format that can be easily recorded and stored. Email on the other hand allows for a gradual build-up of trust by both parties.

An email address with an optional form is a much better idea.

I think its more of an issue for you as a traveling provider. Few if any locals require them. We just pick up the phone or E-mail a provider and no problem. They get our phone number usually for verification or if they need to reach us.

It is so rare to have a provider in any danger it just isn't a concern with most providers. They can confirm who you are by a phone number, or hotel. A form isn't needed just a verifiable phone number so if the guy is a rare weirdo.. But he isn't going to even give that out probably if he is a bad guy.

I wonder how many providers have ever actually had a really bad situation happen ...yes it does happen...but its so rare..and I doubt info on a form would be any more protection than a verified phone number.

You have far more risk in traffic than you do from customers in my view.

Well I guess all the fields on my forms are optional if you dont want to give out all your personal info. It's just a good way for me to get to know you.

I just ask that some sort of return contact is made available
(email or phone number)

Tell me what you think of my forms

Guys..just curious....Chantel just got a tonne of free advertising and potential clients....and I may be wrong, but I don't believe she has any paid advertising on here? I apologize if I'm wrong but could this thread over a deposit have been started just to rustle up business? Yes, I sound like a negative neddy but anyone else have a thought along the same lines?

Actually I looked at Chantel's Website for the first time a couple days ago and at that time there actually was a space for DL #. It also stated that upon arrival you had to present your DL and two other pieces of ID. When I saw how much info was requested I left right away.

I can understand why a SP might be nervous about meeting someone for the first time and wanting as much info a possible. However I'm just as nervous about giving out too much information to someone I've never met.

The only info I'm comfortable giving out is my name, e-mail address, and cell phone number, and I'll give my physical description. I'd never give out my employer info, how do I know SP isn't going to blackmail me.

In the interest of science I went to test out your forms myself as I had a reasonable suspicion that they wouldn't work for me any better than they do for a Mac/Netscape user.

Lo and behold I see on my status line:
Downloading 3270656 bytes !

WTF ? Why are you trying to dump 3.2f#$%ing megabytes
on me ?

Needless to say I didn't hang around to get the
forms.

Well I simplified the form you are referring to
Tell me whatcha think

I had help with making the website. The fields in the forms were not a requirement but again I changed them so we'll see

Chantel, I would like to see more revealing photos on your website. I do not necessarily mean nude ones. I would like to see your legs in their entirety, and your complete figure. You have a very pretty face.
