What's the cancellation date for the NHL season?

people have to under stand there's lots of other under rated hockey like CHL and AHL, and the NLL will benifit sightly on this lockout most likely better then last time as social media wasnt nearly as strong and established. There's a hashtag going on twitter #NLLoverNHL and a website www.NLLoverNHL.com I'm sure attention put toward that will become stronger to the start of the season in january

According to reports last night....after the dog and pony show in NYC.....
A 48 game schedule is the BARE minimum the league would entertain as a full schedule...in order to salvage a ''season''
personally...i couldnt give a fuck if they ever played......EVER AGAIN.....

I would play for $500,000(NHL minimum) and I would give it 100% every shift.

You wouldn't if you were getting $2 million up until the last lockout and you agreed to cut back to $1 million to settle the CBA, and now were being asked to come down to that $500k.

That is the point! The players are not asking for more, the league is once again asking the players to bail them out of their own fuckups. Didn't the league get what it wanted at the last lockout? Bettman was celebrating this win/win for the league and now needs the players to once again give back to save the owners from themselves.

If they come to an agreement today, by tomorrow the teams will be looking into how they can circumvent the rules. To blame the players is absurd.
