Just wondering what everyone's favorite credit card is. I know its been discussed before, but I thought I'd do an update. In the past I've been partial to Aerogold; only problem is I accumulate miles faster than I can use them. Now I'm using a platinum cashback card - who doesn't have a softspot for cold hard $$$?? I use my refund for hobbying so it's kind of like like getting free sessions with Sps courtesy of the bank. :p

Amazing no one says he carries a condom or two in the wallet, in addition to cash and credit cards!!!

It is not recommended to carry a condom in your wallet. I can't remember where I read that, but it is not good for the condom's durability or something like that.

Your statement will be true if the condom is in the possession of an antique collector who keeps it in the wallet forever. It will be incorrect if the condom is being used as fast as a terb hobbyist.

Well in terms of cash, I usually have about $500-$1000, on me. But I use my credit card alot. I also have a calling card, just in case I ever loose my cell phone when I am in foreign countries. And of course I have all of my identification as well along with the funds.

Between a rock and a hard place
Receipts and notes that go back about six months, $80, a dozen loyalty cards for various stores and sandwich shops, $3.20 in Canadian Tire money, photos of the kids and the girlfriend, business cards of various important contacts, and a joke card I bought in 1978, that reads as follows:

"Your story has touched my heart.
Never before have I met anyone with as many troubles as you have.
Please accept my most sincere sympathy.
Now fuck off and quit bothering me."

In almost 30 years, I have never needed to give it to anyone. But still, it's good to be prepared.

Oh and I use RBC RoyalBank Visa Classic, a Scotiabank Debit card. I only withdraw large amounts of cash when visiting an SP.

Nautilus: Who refuses cash these days? I've paid for rental cars and hotels in cash sometimes. They are reluctant to deal in cash but they accept it.
